GUIDELINES FOR ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Oral presentations
Presentations must be in English. Speakers will have 12 minutes for presentations plus 3 minutes for questions. This 3 minute period belongs to the audience, not to the speaker, and will be managed by the Session Moderator. Time limits will be rigorously enforced by Session Moderator.

Acceptable media:

• CDs and Flash drives.
• Microsoft PowerPoint is the only acceptable audiovisual formats for electronic presentation.
• The meeting room will be equipped with a PC laptop configured with CD/DVD drive, USB 2.0 ports and will be running with Microsoft Windows operating system. Make sure your presentation will run under this system.
• All speakers will be expected to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance of the start of their session.

Poster presentations
Posters must also be written in English. Posters must be approximately 1.2 m height and 0.9 m width. Posters will be displayed during the whole meeting to interested persons can view the poster even when the author is not in presence. Poster authors are required to be present during the Poster Session that will be Wednesday 30th May 18:00h and will be accompanied by a light refreshment. Poster authors’ are welcome to bring along handouts associated with their presentation.
