The Portuguese Institute of Malacology in collaboration with CIIMAR, CIMO and CITAB is organizing the "Portuguese Congress of Malacology 2012" between 7th and 9th of September 2012, at the auditorium of IPB in Bragança.
The Congress is open to everyone interested in the dissemination and study of molluscs and the program includes a visit to Montesinho Natural Park, where it will be possible to observe the populations of the protected species Margaritifera margaritifera, oral communications and a poster session and also a workshop about protected species, which will be led by Dr. Mary Seddon.
