In Search of the Sea Hare
Explore the fascinating intertidal ecosystem of rocky shores and discover how marine life adapts to the changing tides. Participants will observe species in their natural habitat, use field guides for identification, and take on the challenge of finding a sea hare or signs of its presence. A fun, hands-on activity to learn about marine biodiversity.
Dune expedition
This field trip invites participants to explore the dune ecosystem, a vital coastal habitat that protects shorelines and supports biodiversity. Through an introductory talk and a guided field walk, participants will discover dune formation, characteristic flora and fauna, and their remarkable adaptations. They will observe local species, reflect on landscape changes over time, and explore future conservation perspectives for these valuable ecosystems.
