The Annual Meeting is back and promises to be one of the most significant moments of the year for the CIIMAR community. As part of the “New Horizons” events programme, the meeting will take place on the 9th of September, at CIIMAR headquarters.
This meeting, already a tradition at the beginning of September, is entirely dedicated to science, collaboration, and networking. It is an opportunity to bring together researchers, students, and staff who carry out their work at CIIMAR, both at the headquarters and across other facilities of the University of Porto, the Polytechnic of Porto, the University of Madeira, and IPMA.
The programme is already available and includes a presentation on CIIMAR’s vision for the next decade, pitch presentations by newly graduated PhDs and PhD students, updates on ongoing CIIMAR projects funded by Horizon Europe and FCT, as well as the latest information on funding opportunities. The agenda also features presentations from alumni, whose academic paths intersected with CIIMAR and for whom the experience at the institution represented a boost to their careers.
Whether you are presenting, attending, or simply curious to learn about the latest scientific discoveries, the Annual Meeting is the ideal occasion to share ideas, foster synergies, and strengthen connections within the CIIMAR community.
