CIIMAR will welcome 20 new PhD students following the publication of the results of the PhD scholarships funded by FCT.
The overall approval rate for the proposals submitted was 43.5%.
CIIMAR congratulates all the students who have been awarded scholarships, as well as their respective supervisory teams.
About FCT funding for Doctoral Research Scholarships
Doctoral Research Scholarships are intended for candidates enrolled in a cycle of studies leading to a doctoral degree, or candidates who meet the necessary conditions to enrol, and who wish to carry out research activities leading to the award of this degree in all areas of knowledge.
The research activities of the applications must be in any environment for the production and dissemination of knowledge, national or international, including higher education institutions, R&D units, Associated Laboratories, State Laboratories and other public research institutions, as well as other private non-profit institutions whose main purpose is R&D activities.
