The CIIMAR researcher Elsa Froufe is the new scientific and technical coordinator of the Vila do Conde Marine and Environmental Research Center (CMIA). Elsa brings extensive experience and in-depth knowledge, with particular emphasis on her work on the impact of climate change on aquatic biodiversity.
We take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the previous coordinator, Dr. Cristina Calheiros. Her contribution greatly enriched CMIA de Vila do Conde, both technically and scientifically, and will continue to inspire the work of the CMIA.
The Vila do Conde Marine and Environmental Research Center is a municipal facility coordinated by CIIMAR , which aims to contribute to the development of environmental education and monitoring initiatives.
