The Ocean is calling for help — and the students of Scholé have heard it loud and clear!
This project marks the culmination of six weeks of in-depth research and exploration into the current state of our marine ecosystems. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the children investigated the major threats facing the ocean today, including:
• Pollution from microplastics, chemicals, oil, bacteria, and noise
• Overfishing
• Ocean warming
With creativity and curiosity, the resulting exhibition showcases not only the challenges identified but also the innovative solutions proposed by these young minds:
• Promoting the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, with a focus on eliminating single-use plastics
• Advocating for the protection of coastal habitats and marine tranquility
• Designing forward-thinking concepts such as sensors and robotic systems to treat contaminated water by bacteria
This project reflets the power of education to inspire environmental awareness and action.
