The SALINA project, coordinated by Isabel Costa, has been approved under the HORIZON-JU-CBE-2025 call of the Horizon Europe programme, with a total budget of 362,500 euros.
This achievement further strengthens CIIMAR’s participation in highly the competitive European funding schemes, particularly within the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), which supports innovation and sustainability in bio-based value chains.
The project will be implemented by a multidisciplinary team and reflects the scientific excellence and strategic relevance of the proposed research within the European bioeconomy framework.
