CIIMAR at the TEC4SEA platform inauguration

Researchers Rodrigo Ozório and Ana Paula Mucha represented CIIMAR  in the inauguration of the TEC4SEA platform, in Leixões Harbour.

It consists of a laboratory and a small workshop, and the research vessel Mar Profundo.

The TEC4SEA, founded by INESC TEC and the Technological Research Centre of the Algarve (CINTAL), was created for the research, development, testing and validation of maritime technologies, mainly in the marine robotics area.

Also present were the Minister of Science, Elvira Fortunato, the Secretary of State of the Sea José Costa, the Director of INESCTEC José Manuel Mendonça and the President of FCT Madalena Alves.
