EDGEOMICS: FRESHWATER BILVALVES AT THE EDGE!

The project EdgeOmics from CIIMAR, meets today in Mértola with all team members and several collaborating institutions to multiply the study of the effects of climate change on freshwater bivalves in the region of Guadiana river.

The project team is coordinated by the CIIMAR researcher Elsa Froufe and gathers members from CIIMAR, UTAD, IPB, CIBIO and UM to work together in studying genetics, evolution, ecology and conservation of freshwater bivalves under climate change scenarios.
