Career Management Session

The CIIMAR PhD student’s committee invites you for an online session on Career Management and Development for Scientists, on March 12th, at 11 am !

Staying in academia? Transitioning to a job in industry? How to improve my CV?

Let’s talk about the struggles of PhD and post-PhD decisions and managing a career in science through the experience of other researchers.

Pedro Resende, co-founder/director of Chaperone and research associate at i3S, will introduce Chaperone and discuss what lead to the creation of a platform focused on career counselling for scientists.

Ana Osório Oliveira, postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet, will share her experience navigating throughout her scientific path and becoming a career advisor.

This session will be directed to students and early-career researchers, but everyone is welcome to attend and share their doubts, experiences and thoughts.
