João Magalhães is a collaborator at the BET laboratory, working with Cristina Calheiros on the CIRQUA project. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2020 and his master’s degree in Functional Biology and Biotechnology in 2023, at the Faculty of Sciences of Porto. The focus of his work at CIIMAR involves the taxonomy of invertebrates and fauna associated with constructed wetlands, with an additional focus on the impact of these communities on nature-based solutions.
