Marisa Matias

Marisa Matias holds a PhD in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, where she is currently a lecturer and researcher. She recently coordinated the project RESET – Redesigning Equality and Scientific Excellence Together, where she was responsible for the working group that developed the two Gender Equality Plans of the University of Porto (UP Igualdade). Her research interests focus on gender issues, work-family balance, and the role of Higher Education Institutions as agents of change in promoting gender equality.

Jorge Peixoto Freitas

Jorge Peixoto Freitas holds a master’s degree in Psychology and is a certified psychotherapist. He currently works at the University of Porto as the project manager of IQUAL CAMPUS and as a psychologist in the Sexual Health consultation service. He was also the project manager for RESET – Redesigning Equality and Scientific Excellence Together. He is a doctoral student in the Human Sexuality Program, and his current research and clinical practice focus on couples therapy and sexual diversity.
