Pedro Teiga holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering, by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). With more than 20 years of experience, is the founder and Executive Director of E.RIO, a company focused on river rehabilitation, applying Nature-based Solutions (SbN) and public participation processes. He’s one of the founders of Centro Ibérico de Restauro Fluvial (CIREF) and the Mentor of ProjetoRios, RIOS+ brand, Living Labs RIOS+ (already implemented in more than 60 Portuguese municipalities), “Guardiões dos Rios” movement and the Strategic Plan for River Rehabilitation, applied at municipal and inter-municipal scale.
