The project “Explorando o funcionamento e funções das coberturas verdes na gestão da água: Um protótipo para atividades experimentais e interativas” and the project “Charcos com Vida” were awarded at Ideias Hidrodinâmic@s competition.
The project " “Explorando o funcionamento e funções das coberturas verdes na gestão da água: Um protótipo para atividades experimentais e interativas” involving the CIIMAR researcher Cristina Calheiros, Ana Geraldes (CIMO e ESA-IPB) and Flora Silva (ESTiG-IPB), was the winner of the Environment category in the competition Ideias HidroDinâmic@s.
In the same competition the project Charcos com Vida also from CIIMAR in partnership with the Pé Ante Pé Association, won the Special Award in the Environment category.
This project aims to develop an education plan for the conservation of amphibians in the northern coast of Portugal, more precisely in the municipality of Vila do Conde.
The competition Ideias HidroDinâmic@s took place between November 2021 and January 2022, in a partnership between the Pavilhão do Conhecimento, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and Águas do Tejo Atlântico.
