Title: Accumulation of Carotenoids in Microalgae

Carotenoids are not only natural pigments, but also they have amazing properties like antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, reducing the risk of cancer, and enhancing the immune system. Apart from medical benefits, the pigments like yellow, orange, and red have been used as edible food colorants which replace synthetic food colorants. In the seminar, I am going discuss the various approaches that we performed in our lab.
