Carlos Espírito Santo holds a PhD in Marine Biotechnology and Aquaculture (U. Porto), a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (U. Minho). His research focuses on aquaculture, with particular emphasis on the effects of swimming on fish development and health. His work aims to promote more sustainable practices in the aquaculture sector, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance animal welfare and production efficiency.
