The 2025 edition took place at the NOVA SBE Campus in Carcavelos between July 9th and 11th and its theme was “Science, Innovation and Society”.
CIIMAR researchers Marisa Almeida and Filipe Castro were speakers at the session “The Portuguese Sea – Science for public policies” organized by CIMAR-LA.
Organized by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia and the National Agency for Scientific Culture CIÊNCIA VIVA, with the close collaboration of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and the institutional support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the event featured a diverse programme that included more than 50 sessions and around 200 speakers with the aim of reflecting the best in science, technology and innovation in Portugal and internationally.
