CIIMAR has launched its 2025/2026 Educational Programme, offering a broad and diverse set of activities designed to bring marine and environmental sciences closer to students and educators.
The programme includes guided visits to CIIMAR, hands-on experiments, educational games, lectures (in-person or online), and field trips such as beach clean-ups or biodiversity observation at low tide.
A key feature of this initiative is the direct involvement of CIIMAR researchers, who participate in online conversations with schools, discussing current topics in marine and environmental sciences and share insights from their research.
All activities are aligned with school curricula across different education levels, linking CIIMAR’s research to educational practice and promoting scientific knowledge and Ocean literacy among participants.
