BYT 2024 is now open for candidates

Applications to the 11th edition of the Blue Young Talent program are now open until May 15th, 2024.

Similar to previous editions of the BYT programs, students will have the opportunity to work integrated into CIIMAR research teams, receiving a monthly scholarship during the program period. Additionally, they will have access to CIIMAR facilities and its research, innovation, technology transfer, training, and education resources, as well as a complementary network of technological platforms. Students will also be integrated into a pre- or post-graduate enrichment program aimed at promoting excellence, communication and scientific dissemination of their work, entrepreneurship, and integration into the job market.

 
As in previous editions, both BYT and BYTplus will conclude with a public presentation of the work developed by young talents, with the distinction of the best projects.
 
The eleventh edition will feature pre-graduate BYT scholarships funded by Soja Portugal and the Amadeu Dias Foundation, while the sixth edition of the BYTplus program will again be funded by the Amadeu Dias Foundation.
 
Applications for all BYT programs must be submitted by completing and submitting the appropriate form available on the BYT website during the application period: April 15th to May 15th, 2024.
