The CIIMAR researcher Joana R. Xavier will embark next Saturday, Aug 6th on the NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration) ship Okeanos Explorer in the expedition Voyage to the Ridge.
Voyage to the Ridge 2022 is a three-part series of expeditions (EX2204, EX2205, and EX2206) comprising 84 days of telepresence-enabled ocean exploration. Live video and data from ROV dives and multibeam sonar mapping operations will be shared in real time with shore-based participants and the public.
