On the 18th of September, the Leixões Cruise Terminal and CIIMAR will be open to the public to celebrate one more “Dia do Porto de Leixões” and CIIMAR Open Day.

Researchers will leave their labs to show their research and conduct dozens of scientific activities with the public! The program includes scientific experiments, observation of organisms under the microscope, coastal biodiversity and intertidal zoning aquariums, a mini-fitoETAR, paintings, games, children story tales and even a showcooking with algae!

After two years of restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2022 we will be back in force with our already known activities of direct interaction with the public for CIIMAR’s biggest annual event of science dissemination! And this year we have many new things to share with you.

We count on your presence in this conviviality between researchers and public, which will offer you activities on the most diverse themes of CIIMAR’s work, in an environment of interaction, science and relaxation. Come along!
