The CIIMAR Scientific Photography Contest is back for its 4th edition and invites all members of the institution to share their view of science through photography. This initiative aims to promote creativity and enrich CIIMAR’s collection of scientific images.

Contest Objectives

The contest encourages the visual sharing of scientific experiences, allowing participants to communicate science through photography. The winning images will be added to CIIMAR’s image library, with proper credit given.

Who Can Participate?

The contest is open exclusively to CIIMAR members. All members are encouraged to participate and submit photographs that illustrate the impact, beauty, and complexity of the research conducted at CIIMAR.

Important Dates

• Submission deadline: February 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM
• Announcement of winners: March 1, 2025, during CIIMAR’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
