CIIMAR is co-organising the OMALI – Omega Marine Lipids workshop, which will take place at the University of Aveiro from 16 to 18 June 2025.

This international workshop brings together experts in the field of marine lipidomics and will focus on the applications of marine-derived lipids for healthier and more sustainable nutrition — both human and animal. The scientific programme covers a wide range of topics, from analytical techniques to technological applications.

OMALI will feature researchers from leading institutions such as CSIC (Spain), CNRS (France), and CIIMAR (Portugal).
