The Agenda Mobilizadora InsectERA, led by Indredient Odissey S.A., marked one year since its official launch session at CNEMA in Santarém last February.
CIIMAR is thrilled to be part of this agenda and contribute to the growth and development of a new bioindustrial sector in Portugal. With its involvement in the InsectERA Mobilizing Agenda, CIIMAR’s primary goal is to valorize products derived from larvae of Tenebrio molitor and Hermetia illucens.
This will be achieved through their incorporation into diets aimed at promoting the growth and robustness of two highly valued commercial fish species in Portugal: European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) and gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata).
