My name is Elías Luaces Larrán. I studied for my bachelor’s degree at the University of Vigo in Spain and graduated in Marine Sciences in 2022. During the following two years, I carried out several research-related jobs, all connected to the marine environment. In 2024, I enrolled in the Master’s program in Applied Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology at the University of Porto. I am currently planning to complete my master’s thesis on Bioprospecting Cyanobacterial Metallophores for Alzheimer’s Disease Therapy, working in the CIIMAR laboratories
