Francisco Pascoal is a researcher at CIIMAR, focusing on the ecology of the microbial raer biosphere and the study of microbiomes in the Arctic, supported by data science tools, including machine learning. Francisco holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Porto, a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Lisbon, and a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from NOVA University Lisbon.
