Gisela Costa is a marine biologist with an interest in science-based innovation and a strong
commitment to effective project management. Her PhD thesis is focused on digital traceability
for small-scale fisheries. She completed a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Marine Resources.
Through her work with WWF Portugal, the Sea2See and Omali Vida Nón projects, she drove
stakeholder engagement and participatory management strategies.
