Jorge Freitas has a degree in Biotechnology from the University of Aveiro (2011). He completed the Master in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology (2013) between the University of Aveiro and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. He is currently developing his PhD in company (Ilhapeixe S.A.) and University of Madeira, with a PhD scholarship from ARDITI, under the guidance of Professor José S. Câmara and Professor Paulo Vaz-Pires. The work is related to the quality of aquaculture products, from production, quality control, traceability and safety.
