Maria Elizabeth Tiritan is Assistant Professor at University Institute of Health Sciences and Invited Assistant at Faculty of Pharmacy – Porto University. Her research interests focus on chiral compounds: organic synthesis, enantiomeric purity evaluation, biological activity, biodegradation and enantioselective studies. Emergent contaminants, especially chiral substances, are also focus of her research interests.
