Ricardo Silva Matias

Ricardo Matias has a BSc in Biology and a MSc in Ecology at the University of Coimbra, concluded in 2016 and 2018 respectively. He has since then collaborated with the Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (MARE) and British Antarctic Survey (BAS) on plastic pollution research in the Southern Ocean. Since late 2020, Ricardo became a PhD student of the Animal Sciences doctoral programme at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS), University of Porto.
