Sara Moutinho, PhD (2024), is a Junior Researcher at CIIMAR, with 10+ years of experience in fish nutrition and welfare research. She focuses on alternative feed ingredients and aquaculture sustainability, with expertise in enzymatic, immune, gene expression, and composition analyses, feeding trials, and animal handling. She has taught in the Laboratory Animal Science Course (CAL-AQUA) and collaborated with the industry and in several national and European projects.
