Amphibians are the most threatened group of vertebrates worldwide. In Portugal, these fascinating and mysterious animals are still little known by the population, often being associated with myths and popular beliefs.

The exhibition “Amphibians: One Foot in the Water, the Other on Land” aims to raise public awareness about the ecological importance, threats, and need for conservation of amphibians in Portugal.
