Budget Management and Saving

In order to explore the fundamental principles of financial management, with the aim of promoting better financial literacy and providing participants tools to make better informed decisions, we will be holding a session on ‘Budget Management and Saving‘.

 

The session will be held online on September 28th, from 11:30am to 1pm, in Portuguese.

This course costs 100€. For the CIIMAR, CCMAR and IPMA community, registration is free.

These are the topics we’ll discuss:

  • Budget Management and Saving;
  • Credit;
  • Default Prevention and Management.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the need to prioritize expenses and the importance of a family budget;
  • Recognize the importance of saving for financial stability;
  • Learn about some financial products for saving;
  • Understand the concepts of credit;
  • Identify the advantages and costs of using credit and the consequences of debt;
  • Understand and interpret the Credit Responsibility Center (CRC) report.
