CIIMAR, in partnership with the Pavilhão da Água, will hold a lecture on the origins and impacts of marine litter, including large debris and microplastics. Innovative solutions to prevent and reduce these environmental impacts will also be presented.

The lecture will be led by CIIMAR researchers Marisa Almeida and Sandra Ramos, coordinators of the NETTAG Plus project.
