Ana Sara Gomes holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biotechnology applied to Health Sciences (ICBAS-UP). Since 2022, her work has focused on the discovery and development of sustainable antifouling strategies for marine applications. Her current research interests centre on identifying molecular targets and elucidating mechanisms of action of antifouling compounds by combining molecular and cellular biotechnological approaches.
