André Ferreira holds a BSc in Biology (2022) and an MSc in Functional Biology and Biotechnology of Plants (2024) from the University of Porto. He has contributed to the BIOREM project, developing expertise in environmental biotechnology. Currently supported by a research grant, his work focuses on applying bioremediation strategies to mitigate the impact of crude oil spills, marine fuels, and hazardous and noxious substances (HNS) in seaports
