I am a Marine Ecologist, with a strong background in fish ecology and behaviour, and an interest in the effect of anthropogenic related stressors on fish. I have experience in project coordination (7 projects as team member, 3 projects as Principal Investigator), team management, student supervision (5 PhD students, 18 master students) and editorial activity. I am currently working as project manager of INNOECOFOOD, an Horizon Europe project that aims to establish innovative production/ business ECOHUBS and improve local aquaculture farms using AI and IoT in six African countries.
