Currently a PhD student of the Doctoral Program in Science Teaching and Dissemination (expertise in Science Teaching) at Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP), with a project thesis entitled “Earth System Approach: From professional development to an attitudinal change in the teaching of Natural Sciences”. She has a master’s degree in Geology for Teaching and a degree in Geology in the same field, both courses completed in the FCUP. She has been teaching for over 25 years, currently being part of the School Board of a public school.
