Fábio Faria holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Geology, a master’s degree in Ecology and a postgraduate qualification in Science Communication. Throughout his career, he has collaborated on several science communication projects, producing written and photographic content for field guides, educational workbooks, exhibitions, museums, interpretative panels and educational games. He has also provided technical and scientific support for environmental education projects, delivered environmental literacy workshops for various audiences and was a member of the organising committee of several science communication events.
He believes that science should be accessible, participatory and closely connected to society, and that science communication plays an essential role in promoting scientific literacy.
