M. João Peixoto started her studies in Biology at UTAD and earned her doctor’s degree in Animal Science, centred on Nutrition, at ICBAS. Dr. Peixoto is presently joining the IMMUNAA project with Aquatic Animal Health Team at CIIMAR. She wishes to merge Academia and the Industry worlds focusing on Immunonutrition of Aquaculture species.
