Paulo Rema (PhD), is a senior scientist and Associated Professor at UTAD, University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. PR is the coordinator of the Aquaculture facilities and head of the aquaculture team. PR is the Director of the Animal Science Doctoral programme and has more than 25 years of experience in aquaculture and fish nutrition. PR supervised more than 50 students (PhDs and MSc) and has over 70 publications in international and national journals. Close collaboration with industrial partners and participation in numerous national and international research projects (>20).
