Susana Pereira graduated in Biology, holds a Master’s degree in Ecotoxicology and has a PhD degree in Biology (specialization in Environmental Toxicology) from the “Universidade de Aveiro” (UA). Her PhD was focused on the fate and effects of metal nanomaterials in freshwater organisms and was conducted in UA (CESAM), University of Plymouth and Colorado School of Mines. Now, she is part of the A2S team, working as an auxiliary researcher in the framework of the project BREEDFLAT that aims to improve flatfish breeder’s performance by enhancing immune system capacity and gamete quality with key-role nutrients for successful reproduction.
