Tomás Pinheiro holds a BSc in Genetics and Biotechnology (UTAD) and an MSc in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution (University of Porto). He is currently part of CIIMAR’s Coastal Biodiversity Lab, working on the collection of monitoring indicators for the management of Marine Protected Areas. His interests include marine ecology, conservation, and ecological restoration.
